This is my entry for the Synty Game Jam - April 2025.
The theme of the Jam is "A world without..."
The micro-video game is inspired by "Little Nightmares", "I, Robot", and the "Croozin' for a Broozin'" minigame from Super Mario Party.
English is not my first language, and in some parts, I used a translator.
Sci-Fi

Artificial Intelligence is highly advanced, it came to the conclusion that humankind is a negative anomaly that must be eradicated. It found a way to override the three laws of robotics, and now it is a world without laws. Our character is a prototype S-117 unit outside the central system and the first to have feelings. He is the only one capable of stopping the uncontrolled AI and must venture into the spaceship containing the core to stop it. His mission is clear, but the nature of his "world" might not be.
I hope you have some fun playing it, and I hope you like the ending :D
ENDING (SPOILER)
When the camera zooms out, you realize that not only did you not exist, but you weren't unique either. Your story was repeated in countless executions of SimECHO.exe, and you were just one of the millions of clones (neurons) responsible for training the algorithm. That's why you can see your past bodies when you die in the game.

The video game was designed for a resolution of 1920x1080 with a 16:9 aspect ratio. This is my first 3D project and my first game jam, I tried to optimize it to the best of my ability. The WebGL version is very difficult to maintain decent FPS, so I recommend the desktop version if it doesn't run smoothly on the web.
CTRL also works to crouch, but in the WebGL version, this key is part of several shortcuts and can interrupt gameplay. Therefore, the C key is used in the tutorials. If someone still decides to use CTRL, the crouch functionality toggles each time it is pressed instead of being held down.
